The Media Foundation of Bermuda is the umbrella group and every media outlet that adopts the Code of Practice becomes a member and contributes a nominal, annual fee to help meet the cost of running the Media Council. The primary function of the Foundation is to sustain the Media Council. It will also serve as a useful forum through which the media will address common concerns/challenges such as training, media accreditation and threats to freedom of expression. Over time the foundation also plans to develop a social arm through which media events will be organized.
